FAQ
Plynt is an iOS app that diagnoses plant diseases, pests, and disorders from a single photo. It identifies the plant, shows a confidence score and the look-alikes it ruled out, and gives a staged, region-aware treatment plan.
Open Plynt, snap a photo of the affected leaf or plant — you can add the plant type and your region for a sharper result — then tap Diagnose. Plynt identifies the plant and the problem, rates its confidence, and gives you a staged plan with do-now, ongoing, organic, and chemical steps.
Your first diagnosis is free. Plynt Pro unlocks unlimited diagnoses for $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year (USD; prices vary by region), and adds multi-photo diagnosis, recovery re-scans, My Garden, and care reminders.
Your photo is sent securely to produce the diagnosis and is then discarded. Plynt does not store your photos on its servers, has no account system, and never sells your data. Diagnoses you save are kept on your device and, if you're signed into iCloud, backed up privately to your own iCloud — never to a Plynt server.
If you're signed into iCloud, your saved diagnoses (My Garden) sync privately to your own iCloud and restore automatically on a new iPhone — no account or sign-up needed. They also sync across your devices. If you're not signed into iCloud, My Garden stays only on the current device, so back the device up to keep it.
Plynt works on houseplants and outdoor garden plants — leaves, stems, fruit, and foliage — and covers common diseases, pests, and disorders such as fungal and bacterial leaf spot, blight, powdery mildew, rust, root rot, and pest damage.
